The test is simple, fast and mainly used for the semi-quantitative detection of glucose, bilirubin, ketone, specific gravity, occult blood, pH, protein, urobilinogen, nitrite and white blood cells in urine samples, utilizing color change of reagent pads to provide information regarding the status of carbohydrate metabolism, liver and kidney function, acid-base balance and urinary tract infection.
